Pecky Cypress Beams

I have always admired the use of beams over doorway entrances…So much texture and uniqueness in its use to expand on an otherwise “normal entryway”.  I opened the original doorway to expand on the ocean view, but also to be able to place this old cypress beam to expand on the other items placed in the space. Today my talented craftsman, Greg Morgan and Buddy Hull began the install. All that’s left is a little plaster and paint touch up…and it’s my client’s next “conversation piece” !
